The Dublin International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) is located in the Distillery Building on Church Street, beside the Four Courts and in the heart of Dublin’s ‘Legal Quarter’.  The DIAC is a joint venture between the Bar Council of Ireland and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Irish Branch).

The centre has been purpose built around the needs of modern dispute resolution professionals:

  • It has four large hearing rooms with world class arbitration, ADR and meeting support facilities, in addition to a number of ancillary breakout / meeting rooms.
  • It is fully air conditioned, with dedicated power and data lines to every desk and WiFi throughout the Centre. There is an onsite restaurant and bar, and access to tea and coffee facilities around the clock.
  • It has 24 hour access, 7 days per week, with secure document storage. It is designed for your privacy; alternative entrances mean that you can enter and exit the building privately, with a lift direct to our underground car park. No-one need see you enter or leave the building.
  • Most of the things you would consider as ‘extras’ are included as standard at the DIAC, such as flipcharts, a digital projector and screen, or wall-mounted television for presentation, for instance. For everything else, we have close links with partner services; we provide you with a complete solution.  See our facilities for more details.
